Nancy is born and grew up in Beijing, China. She graduated from Grinnell College with a B.A. in Chemistry. In 2020, Nancy did research with Prof. Erick Leggans on the semi-synthesis of enoxolone derivatives. She is currently a first year working on the total synthesis of Thapsigargin and SAR analysis enabled by the asymmetric allenic Pauson-Khand Reactions. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and going to karaoke.
