Haleigh graduated from Calvin University in 2022 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. Her previous research was in the Anderson group developing gold-catalyzed cyclization reactions to produce tri-substituted indolizines. She is in her first year and is working towards developing a mechanistic model to predict reactivity of Intramolecular Dearomative Didehydro-Diels-Alder precursors. When time permits, she enjoys reading, playing her double bass, and being in the woods.
